Contemporary Morocco Cases - 4x5

Inspired by the earliest cases made for 19-century photography, our hand made cases are designed to complement modern daguerreotypes and wet plate collodion photographic images.  Top grain goat leather cases are offered in 3 colors - black, saddle brown and maroon.  The interior cushioned pad is luxurious 100% mulberry silk, offered in black, dark navy and dark maroon.

Each case is handmade using archival materials that include all paper products, adhesives and finishes.   The case structure or "bones" are made of select northern Michigan basswood and furniture grade birch plywood to ensure a warp free housing.
Built to protect and showcase photographic images for generations, these cases balance historical authenticity with modern precision.  All cases are shipped in an acid free box / sleeve for safe storage.
